Brief Answer:
probably due to cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns.

Given that already many chemo have been tried and all failed, it appears that this is due to cancer progression only. However, chemo might have also played a part, particularly in the last few months.

Please upload the latest scan reports so that we can do better assessment.

Well the issue was irinotecan failed then oxyplatin was commenced but was combenced late - after like 2 months. Started in march this year. Cea was dropping and also small liver mets have disapoeared.

However the liver met which was 7 cm grew to 8 cm while on oxyplatin and the liver met which was 4 cm grew to 5 cm

So im a little confussed what has happened.

He started getting fever n chills , weight loss, unable to eat dehydration, bilirubin is v high , a little confussion too . He now weighs only 47 kg.

Is this now liver failing etc n person will die. Infection has been ruled out

Brief Answer:
yes it looks like disease progression

Detailed Answer:
Unfortunately chemo has not worked for him. As the liver metastases are growing larger, the jaundice is most likely because of that only.

Probably only supportive treatment can be given.
