Brief Answer:
No treatment is required

Detailed Answer:
Hello

The most common cause for swelling in the region you described is a scalp infection. This is generally common in patients with dandruff or lice infestation.

You do not have fever or any other symptom and hence the chance if tuberculosis is rare.

In my opinion you can meet a dermatologist in order to look for a focus of infection in the scalp and if nothing is found then no further treatment is required.

Take care

Hello

If the swelling is not increasing in size and you don't have any symptoms then surgery is unnecessary and i will not recommend it.

Cholesterol will not cause lymph node swelling. Please don't worry.
