Brief Answer:
Seems to be swollen Circumvallete Papillae..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain, the pictures attached and the medical history of having Sinusitis and Post Nasal drip the bumps at the back of tongue seems to be swollen Circumvallete Papillae that contains taste buds..

Circumvallete papillae are arranged at the back of tongue in a typical V shaped pattern..
They are already bigger in size as compared to other Papillae that are scattered throughout the tongue..

Another thing that you mentioned is burping that can be due to indigestion and Excessive production of intestinal gas..

In your case the Papillae seems slightly inflamed and swollen..
Nothing to worry as they does not seems to be anything serious and will get resolved soon..
You can do warm saline gargles..
Take anti-inflammatory medicine like Ibuprofen..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Sip in plenty of XXXXXXX warm water..

One thing that I would like to know from you is that along with burping do you also experience acid reflux or a bitter or acidic like tasting liquid coming up from stomach to throat and mouth?

Kindly start following the remedies I advised and also answer the question asked so that I can guide you further..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be swollen lingual Tonsil secondary to inflammation..

Detailed Answer:
Hi .
Welcome Again..

Thanks for the reply..

As per your query the bump on the side of the tongue seems like swollen lingual Tonsil..
Lingual Tonsil are lymphatic structure one of which is present on either side of tongue..
It can get inflamed during infection or Inflammation in the area where it is present..
Nothing to worry about it as it will also regress gradually as the taste buds will..

Burping and stifness of chest after meals can be due to excessive formation of intestinal gas and can be associated with acid reflux too..
For this condition you should consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated..

He can also advise you Upper G.I Endoscopy and Enteroscopy to rule out the exact cause of burping and once the cause is confirmed treatment will be done..

You might be advised Proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole, antacid like Milk of Magnesia and dietary modifications like eating small portion of food every 2 hours..
Avoid areated drinks and heavy meals..
Drink plenty of water..
Do moderate workout..
Take walk after meals..

Any further questions are welcome..

Wishing you a good health..

Thanks and regards.
