Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain

default
Posted on Thu, 18 May 2017
Question: Lower back pain on right side, just above the pelvic bone, close to the side. It began a week or so ago, but i'd go most of the day without noticing it. The pain got worse yesterday. Some positions are normally comfortable. Others produce a sharp pain. I played tennis last night and could play normally, that is, the pain was not evident on any tennis move. However, other moves produced it. I thought it was just our mattress, which has its problems. Now i'm not so sure as i can't stretch and have the muscles relax.

Brief Answer:
Get Xray done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

Pain you are explaining occurs due to disc problem developing in you, its cause may be due to many reason, like playing games without warm up, weightlifting or very soft spongy mattress etc.

In my opinion you should get xray of lumbosacral spine in AP and Lateral view and send me the report, I want to see the present condition of disc space, vertebral condition etc.

Till then just avoid any type of game, exercise etc.

Have tab.aceclofenac100mg+thiocolchicoside 4mg by prescription of your family doctor as this medicine is not over the counter.

Apply hot packs.

Thanks,
