Firstly, if this pain is of sudden onset, or there is associated nausea, vomit, fever or progressive pain,you should see ER and get some lab tests (hemogram, amylase, lipase and LFT etc.) and ultrasound scan to rule out appendicits, diverticulitis or uro-gynecologic acute issues.

Otherwise, you can treat it at home with easier diet, antispasmolitics (eg. Dyclomine/Bentyl), take more fluids,probiotics and magnesium supplements.

rested a bit & am feeling better - thanks. Yes - was worried it might have been my appendix - but I seem fine now.
