Brief Answer:
seems to be viral illness.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having fever with throat pain. Based on your clinical details, it appears to be acute pharyngitis with mouth ulcers secondary to viral illness.

I suggest you to follow these measures to overcome your health issues.

1. start over the counter, tab.prilosec (omeprazole 10mg) one tab before breakfast, tab. tyelynol twice daily, tab.multivitamin daily one tab. You need to stop ibbrufen (it increases acid secretion).

2. You also may need antibiotic such as amoxicillin 500mg thrice daily for 5-7 days. It is a prescription only drug.

3. XXXXXXX warm salt water gargles thrice a day will benefit you.

Viral illness are self limiting, but it takes few days to resolve. Do not take spicy foods, apply over the counter benzocaine gels on the tongue / gum sores. It is numbing agent for pain (thrice daily half an hour prior to food).

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
