Question: I have bad pain behind my left knee extending down the calf a couple of inches. Just happened when I stood. Sharp pain. Is now just pain. Feels strange when I am sitting but pain again when I stand. I had knee replacement surgery XXXXXXX 29th but have progressed very well.

Started with sharp pain just now on standing, reduced to just pain, there is strange feeling on sitting but the pain recurs on standing.

Is there any local swelling and/or redness at the site of pain?
Is there any swelling of the calf muscles or the whole leg?
Are you on any medications?
Any other information you would like to share.
