Hi I have replied for your questions as mentioned below. Please suggest.
Question: Since how long you have keloids.
Answer: I am suffering from Keloids for about 25 years. It started as a small one in my left leg knee and spread all over the body as I grow.

Question: What are the areas affected.
Answer: All parts of the body are affected, small, small keloids are there all over the body. If it is coming in the left side, the immediate left side is getting affected.
Example: If I got a Keloid in my right hand (Upper side) then I got a keloid in my left hand (Upper side)

Question: Is there any pain or itching over the same.
Answer:Yes, it will be paining and itching for some time more severely.

Injection of steroid and application of steroid based cream.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back and thanks for posting necessary details.

To tell you simply about keloids- In normal healing the tissue proliferates in a controlled systemic manner but in keloids there is proliferation of tissue in the skin in haphazard manner.

Keloids are most common in dark skin person (Africans-Asians), more tendency is present in people with family history of Keloids or wound infections or poor wound healing.

In your case as the keloid is growing so the main course of therapy in this condition is by injection of steroid and application of steroid based cream.

In my patients with Keloids I treat these with triamcinolone injections in proper dose and strength. After the injection one can see the result in next 2-3 weeks as halting of growth of keloid as well flattening in the tissue.

I suggest you to meet a proper dermatologist who can judge the exact concentration of the triamcinolone injections to be given to your keloid area. Do not try to go for any type of surgeries on keloids as it can cause further recurrence and complexity of the condition.

I hope above information are helpful in your condition. If you have any further queries then I will be glad to help.

"Wish you good health"
