Brief Answer:
Further details needed

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. However, the details are not sufficient. I would need to ask you whether you are an alcoholic and whether the onset of your jaundice was sudden. I would also need to know if you have been investigated. I am looking for the liver function test reports as it could indicate whether the cause is in the liver or whether it could be due to obstructive cause. I would also need to know whether the causes of viral hepatitis have been ruled out. Please mention if there is anything else that is relevant in this context.

I will wait for your response. Your questions can be answered only after that. Till then stick to bland diet.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Due to biliary stasis. Obstructive cause likely

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. You have conjugated hyperbilirubinemia which indicates a post-hepatic cause and could be due to obstructive cause (biliary stasis or cholestasis). Conjugated hyperbilirubinemia occurs in several disorders associated with bile duct obstruction, with subsequent obstruction of biliary flow. These include choledochal cyst, biliary sludge or cholelithiasis, congenital hepatic fibrosis, inspissated bile syndrome, perforation of the bile duct, an intrinsic or extrinsic obstructing mass etc. You therefore need to be evaluated thoroughly. An ultrasonogram of the whole abdomen would be the first step.

You can benefit from taking tablet Udiliv or Udcoliv (Ursodeoxycholic Acid 300mg) twice daily.

Brief Answer:
Not satisfied with the medication described

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
-Take RANIDOM-RD if you have acid reflux related problems.
-Becozym Forte could give you the yellowish discoloration you describe. Unless you have any specific vitamin deficiency I doubt if there is any reason to take it. Vitamins are not stored in our body and would simply be flushed out with urine.
-Please be informed that there is no proven benefit of medicines like LIVFIT. I would not suggest taking it.
-Unless you have evidence of biliary stasis or cholestatic jaundice, it is no use taking Udiliv or Udcoliv.
