Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On Thighs

Question: I have a rash that I noticed yesterday. It was worse this morning and worse now this afternoon. Mainly on back of thighs but now starting to notice some rash on torso. Warm to touch. Not real itchy. Sore to touch but not extreme. Only thing different is I used a different lotion. However I had used it a few times before with no problems. Of course, I have ceased applying that lotion or anything else. So is that from the lotion or something else? I have a normal temp. Why is it getting worse after lotion application stopped - if that is what it is from.
Age 58. Female. Have MS. Non smoker. Non drinker. Also, I am not on any meds. So it is not prescription based.

Brief Answer:
This is most likely from the lotion...

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this rash. I have reviewed the attached images and they are very suggestive of an allergic reaction. This seems severe enough and will need that these blisters be managed closely to prevent any infections. I will recommend that you stop applying any direct lotion on it but rather go ahead and take oral steroids for this. The rash worsens because the reaction continues though you have stopped the product. First application of allergic substances goes unnoticed but the body builds an aggressive memory to confront this on secondary exposure which is responsible for this rapid and extensive reactions.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
