Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On The Legs

default
Posted on Mon, 23 Mar 2015
Question: I have had rashes on my legs that are warm to touch, itchy, and when I scratch, can cause bleeding. The rashes ( all over both calves, front and back) get worse when stressed. The steroid creams do not work. Any solution? I am moderately healthy other than the rashes.

When I press on all the red rashes, my normal skin color appears, but when I release the pressure, skin turns red again. I have small red patches also scattered on both thighs. It too, is itchy.

Hello ma'am Greetings
I had seen the photographs and gone through your question I hope I will be able to help you out

I would like further information to help you better
is it on the both the legs or one leg
Since how long it's there
any history of fever breathlessness or any other symptoms
past history of such rashes
History of any medication
about your life style and built the the body

I would come up with following possibilities
Allergic reaction
Insect bite
autoimmune disorder
deep vein thrombosis
psoriasis

please make a visit to dermatologist for a battery of tests and thorough clinical examination
meanwhile you can ask your doctor for antihistaminic group of drugs for immediate relief from itching

I Hope you will find my responseinformative and helpful please feel free to ask for follow up or further clarification

wishing you a good health
Regards

I have had it on both legs on and off for a few years. I also take lexapro-5mg a day. I am 5'5" and weigh 105lbs. My lifestyle is busy and I exercise daily. My stress level can be high, causing anxiety. I tend to worry too much
