Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods Post Marriage
Question: Hi.. I'm married for six months..After the 3rd month, me and partner went through the fertility check up.. After my hsg, I'm not getting period regularly.. I'm so worried cos I was having very regular period before that.. It's that normal..?? How can I make it to normal as last time as I'm trying to conceive..?? Please advise.. Thank you
Age 32.
My weight is 98kg.. Height 1.59m
Had hsg 3 months ago.
Period late for 15 days after hsg.
Before hsg period cycle was 28 days every month.
Was given norcolute to shed the period.
The result was not normal as there is blockage in my left tube. Right tube is normal.
My hormonal test is normal.
The infertility specialist advised me to go for IVF as there is no other option. And 0% chance to conceive by natural way..

I understand your concerns about infertility.
Irregular cycles are common in obese women. Obesity is also responsible for infertility and miscarriage. Please concentrate on weight loss with diet and exercise.
HSG was just coincidence for irregular periods. HSG does not affect periods per say. Your irregular periods are due to obesity and not HSG.
You can try IUI for couple of cycles when there is ovulation from right ovary as right fallopian tube is patent and left is not patent. There are chances of pregnancy with right tube open if egg grows in right ovary.
