Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstrual Bleeding

Question: Hi Dr, In continuation to my last question on prolonged periods which actually lasted for 14 days, you had responded stating "Taking emergency contraceptive pill induces withdrawal bleeding which can continue for 7-10 days". My period date was 16 Mar and it lasted till 29 Mar. Now this month my period is yet to be started and I am worrying. Do you suggest to go for some pills to have the periods? My periods are always irregular and sometimes delays by a month also and I had to took some medicine. In past i took pulsatilla 1000 to start the period and this works also. Now what should i do, its been 10 days now I dont have periods.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Emergency contraceptive pill has the side effect of delaying the next expected periods by2-3 weeks.
So, nothing needs to be done if the periods do not occur by next 2 weeks.
I will suggest you to wait for two weeks more.
