Question: I took tamiflu at 12_pm it is now 5am she. Should I take next dose. Also I am having a fast irregular heartbeat and night sweats when will they stop. I have lost 8 pounds is it normal. I would also like to know if I will have a regular period this month?

I also have insomnia could this be a side effect and when will it stop.

As you have not mentioned whether you are taking temiflu for treatment of flu or for prevention of flu i would suggest both in my answer.
To treat flu symptoms Take Tamiflu every 12 hours for 5 days.
To prevent flu symptoms Take Tamiflu every 24 hours for 10 days.
Please discus options with your doctor.
As per your question,
No you should not take next dose before 12 hours.
Palpitations and night sweats can be a symptom of flu so they would take few days to settle down. However palpitations can also be because of insomnia and anxiety, You can ask your doctor to prescribe you with hypnotic like zolpidem or Anti anxiety medicines like clonazepam for few days.

Yes Temiflu has no effect on periods.

I have the flu and I was prescribed tamiflu for twice a day for 10 days. I also have hashimotos and I am on a gluten and dairy free diet as well. I have lost eight pounds ove two or three weeks also because maybe because of the flu. I used to get diarbea because of my IBS now I just get constipTed. If I took tamiflu at 12pm do I just take the next dose till I am done with it. I

I have three more doses to take should I countinue taking them till I am done with the meds please respond.

I have been taking these meds for three and a half days now.

Next dose of Temiflu should be taken 12 hours after the last dose,Otherwise overdosing will occur.
Yes full course of medicine(5days) should be done.
Temiflu should be taken for a total of 5 days.
