Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heart Rate

Question: I have been working outside and I seem to be out of breath. I can in and checked my blood pressure and it was 121/69 and my pulse rate was 97. But what was strange is my heart rate was irregular. I have a stethacrope and it does sound it regular does. I have no chest pains. What could be wrong.

Possible reason is a heart rythm problem like atrial fibrillation (possible example). Pulse rate is slightly high, but might be due to working. In your case I would normally do a standard ekg first and depending on the findings a 24-hour ekg may follow.
