Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Fever And Vomiting In A Child

Question: Respected Doctor ,
My son,age 4 years old,weight 14kg is suffering from fever and vomiting intermittently.And also he is telling me about the pain in his chest.we have consulted the doctor and he recomend to take Cefoprox100,Calpol-250mg,ONDEM,and Oflomac-M Forte.
Today just now he was taking Oflomac-M Forte, he started to vomit.In day time he was suffering from fever 102 degree centigrade. at evening 5pm to 9pm he taken the food normal and feeling normal.
Moreover he is not gaining weight
Suggest me the best Sir

Pertaining to your child issue, it is important that exact focus of infection is determined.

This may require an ultrasound abdomen for further assessment.

A complete blood count/CBC with a differential is needed to assess the severity of any infection.

Vomiting can be a side effect of antibiotics like Oflomac M.

In case if the fever does not resolve, blood culture and sensitivity may be required.
