Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

I'm sorry you're having trouble sleeping. Often sleep can be improved simply by practicing sleep hygiene. This includes:

Maintain a regular sleep routine
Avoid naps if possible
Don’t watch TV or read in bed
Do not drink caffeine inappropriately
Exercise regularly
Have a quiet, comfortable bedroom
Have a comfortable pre-bedtime routine

By following these ideas, you will sleep better.

Medication can also sometimes be helpful. Consider starting with over the counter melatonin 3mg.

Detailed Answer:
This is not a simple task. The only way to cope with painful life experiences is to explore them in psychotherapy. I recommend seeking out a therapist in your area to discuss painful things and thereby understand them better and cope with them better.

Detailed Answer:
Developing a flexible and adapative mindset can take months of psychotherapy. It is one of the major goals of any psychotherapy. But with intensive therapy, this can certainly happen. Again, I strongly encourage you to seek out a therapist in your area to begin this work.

Detailed Answer:
To solve this problem, you will need to build your self-esteem. This will take many months of psychotherapy. A combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy would be helpful to you. Find a qualified therapist in your area who specializes in either therapeutic modality to begin treatment.

Detailed Answer:
What you are describing are automatic negative thoughts. You need many months of intensive cognitive behavioral therapy to slowly try to reconstruct your thinking. This is a long slow process and will take a long time. The best thing for you to do to get relief from these symptoms is find a therapist in your area and begin once weekly psychotherapy.
