Suggest Treatment For Injury Caused By A Rusty Nail

Question: I have stepped on an old nile , but blood didn't came out of my foot .

And I don't remember when is the last time I got tetanus shot , i know for sure i got one 12 years ago . But the can remember if I got another one between those time .

Should I get another one right now ?

Ok even so i might Got the tetnus shot eight years ago but I'm not quite sure ?

Should i still go and got the shot ?

Yes,if it has more than 5 years to get the shot...

Hi back,

If it is more than 5 years, at your age, yes, should take as precaution.
Although we accept 10 years protection, if the patient has taken the last shot longer than 5 years, then, I always advice another shot.
