Suggest Treatment For Inflammation In Throat After Throat Irritation

Question: Hi ,
I have throat irritation and cough. Now the cough is less. My throat is inflamated from inside. now every time i try to gulp it gives me pain. i am doing gargling but it is not helping me much. is there any medicine which i can take to reduce the pain.... when i see the tonsils i see that they are having small grain like pimples. my be it is due to throat infection. please suggest me medicine

Hi, thanks for your query.

As per your history, you might be having throat infection. Your tonsils are also infected causing pain during swallowing.

Empirically to reduce pain, you can take anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 days. Do warm saline gargling.

If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated. If I were your treating doctor, I would have first clinically examined you, confirmed my diagnosis, treated you with Penicillin antibiotics. Avoid oily and cold items. Drink boiled water only.
