Question: Hello Doc, My cycle is perfect with medicines, even my husbands sperm coutn and quality is good, we got it all checked with my gynac, but stil I am not able to conceive since last 5 months( when I am under treatment) What I believe is when we are in contact, my husband is not able to insert properly into my vagina, so sperm does not get into it or spills completely. It is just in the beginning of my vagina..so I dont get complete satisfaction. Amount of sperm also seems to be less. The problem is , my husband could not recognize, if he has inserted properly into my vagina, before sperm comes out. If you see my previous post, I have conceived 2 times naturally with medicines , but this time unfortunately I am not able to since last 5 months not able to. Is it advicable now to go with IUI? 1)What is IUI..though I get to see lot when I search in internet, wanted a feedback from gynac. 2)Is that IUI painfull?do i need to get admitted in hospital or it is just simple process? 3)inserting sperm is done only once during the month, or preferred doing 2 to 3 times? before ovalution or after? 4)if a lady gets conceived with IUI method, how will be the health of the baby in future?does it have any side effects? or disadvantage? 5)most important, what will be the cost for this entire IUI process? I believe though it s not very complex, but at some places it is charged more. 6) As I am also working, during IUI treatment is it necessary for me to go on leave and be at home with rest? normally my workign time is form 9 to 6 7)As you might have seen in my previous post, I am a neuro patient, I am having neuro tablets also..and I cant avoid them. My gynac suggests too many medicine..which also makes it very difficult for me. Kindly give me clarification for all my above points, as it is going to change my life.

I have few more concerns:-

1)As I have written in detail, I hope its clear, what are the problems we face when we are in contact. Can you just give us dome idea, that will help us in future.

Normally doctors say, its okay even if sperm spills, but i feel my husband gets less sperm which also spills most of the time, which was not the case when we were in contact some 5 months back, he is not geting that back.

2)Also about medications, currently my gynac asked me to take menogan injection for 4 altternative days from D3 till D9.and try this month.

Can you please give me you idea on these medicines, is it more effective,common tablet?
Also previous month I was asked to take Letroz tablet alon with Rectagon injection.Kindly give me your ideas on all these medicines.

3)What is precentage of success rate with IUI method compared to natural method. What is the increase in percentage.
