Brief Answer:
Intra uterine insemination

Detailed Answer:
Hi
greetings
I can understand your situation. Everything is rightly done for you.It is true that after 34 to 36 hrs of hcg ,you will ovulate.
But the doctor would have done IUI early may be because there were follicles which would have ruptured early. All follicles need not be equal and rupture after 34 hrs. Some may be larger than others and that would have ruptured early.Only she will know the details as she will be doing the scan.
Theoretically it takes 34 to 36 hrs after hcg for ovulation, but IUI can be planned as per the scan findings.
So you should be discussing with your doctor.
If the uterus ,tubes and ovaries are normal you will conceive .Hope you are convinced. Regards

Brief Answer:
IUI

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As I told earlier ultrasound scan would be a better predictor of ovulation and your doctor advises IUI as per follicular size.usually ovum will be alive for around 12 to 24 hrs and sperm around 48 to 72 hours.

when you go for IUI scan will be done to confirm ovulation.

Hope you are convinced. Regards
