Brief Answer:
Precautions for high bilirubin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking Healthcaremagic forum.
I have gone through your query. As you having a high SGPT and SGOT level which denotes a liver cell injury and insufficiency which gives you a high bilirubin levels. You told its infective.Have you ruled out by tests?.If it is hepatitis A after a short term of 3 to 6 months you will get recovered fully and get immunity against it.But in case of hepatitis B or C it will go into a chronic silent form also.
The precautions you need to take in this case is absolute refraining from alcohol and drugs which are metabolized by liver.Diary products and gluten containing food should be avoided as it is difficult to digest.Hydrogenated oils and junk food should be avoided.Artificial sweeteners drinks which are high in sugar and processed food also should be avoided.
You can take brown rice, vegetables but potatoes in moderation,Yogurt, oatmeal, beans, whole wheat bread and soy milk better than milk.Avoid tap water and drink bottled clean water which are free from heavy metals and pesticides.Eat short meals at least 4 times daily.Do not eat 4 hours before bed time.
Have good rest and sleep and continue the hepatoprotective medicine which you already on,, Udiliv.
Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any follow up queries.I am happy to answer you.
Thanks
