Brief Answer:
Needs more close monitoring.Change in medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

She needs two things.

1.More close monitoring of her pulse and BP.You can record pulse and BP thrice a day for few days(week). This will give doctor idea about variation in her readings during entire day, so doctor might change times of taking medications and very likely increase the dosage.

2.Secondly doctor might want to put on additional medications like beta blockers to control her fluctuating pulse.

In most hypertensive patient some trial and error is needed in case of medications before settling for effective medication and their dosages.

So maintain record more meticulously and let her doctor decide changes.

Also in log term stress management, yoga and breathing exercise can help her in great way.

Hope this helps. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.
