Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child

Question: Hi

I am travelling right now with an 18 month old kid, who is suffering from fever. Unfortunately I don't have his crocin syrup medicine.

As an alternate measure, Is it okay to give the regular crocin tablet to infants (dissolved in water)? If yes, then what should be the dosage?

Brief Answer:
What is the weight of the kid please

Detailed Answer:
Hi... please get back to me with the weight of the baby, I will suggest you the dosage.

Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (maximum ceiling dose of 500mg) every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.
