Question: My thyroid test reports have shown a high TSH level (6.376).
also, my LIPID profile has shown a dip (189) in total cholesterol as compared to before, which is a good sign as I had improved my diet and exercises after y previous tests in November 2016. however, my HDL cholesterol (29.6) has decreased and LDL cholesterol is still high at 136.

can you please suitable medicines and measures for reducing thyroid. please also suggest good diet and measures for improving on cholesterol.

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

High LDL and low HDL carries more risk of heart diseases than High total cholesterol. You will need stronger anticholesterol medications like Statins.
TSH is also on the higher side where you must be started on Thyroxine hormone.

I strongly recommend you to consult an Internal medicine specialist who can advice medications after physically examining you. Physical examination is must to decide on what dose you must be put on.

Diet wise you may have to consume low fat and low carbohydrate diet.

If any doubts please ask,

Regards,
