Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

What you are experiencing especially dizziness and tingly hands aren't related to heart problems, but most probably are related to spondylitis.

However, since you suffer from hypertension and have palpitations, you should schedule an appointment with a cardiologist.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to definitely exclude any cardiac problems:
- Blood work
- Cardiac echo
- Holter monitoring
- Stress test

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

It's very common to experience palpitations when you lay (or sit) down on your left because the chest wall is closer to your heart on this position.

This is why the persons may feel the heart beats (this is called a palpitation) when they lay down on their left. Since this is a normal fenomen you shouldn't worry about it.

Wish you health!
