Suggest Treatment For Heavy Periods
Question: I have heavy flow period. Chaging extra super tampon every 1/2 hour. Should i go to ER?

In cases of heavy periods, which you feel is causing a concern can be controlled with the use of antifibrinolytics like TRANEXAMIC ACID.
You may seek prescription from your gynecologist and start yourself on the same . This would reduce the flow of blood . Although generally the second and the third day of menses are usually heavy and then the bleeding flow reduces in next few days. If you feel that the flow is heavier than in the previous cycles , then you may visit ER and seek a gynecologist's appointment.

I saw the picture and you are passing clots. Now that you mention that you have anaemia , then all the more reason for you to start antifibrinolytics. Ibuprofen is an NSAID and has an progesterone antagonist function but in heavy bleeding its not effective.
However if TAB TRANEXAMIC ACID , is available off the counter at your place then you may start it at the dose of 500mg thrice a day for 3 days.Else , you must visit your ER for the prescription.
