Suggest Treatment For Heaviness In Chest
Question: Have had a feeling of heaviness in my chest for quite a few months. It doesn't hurt to breathe but it feels like it is heavy. I get tightness in my back (upper ribcage area) and am winded very easily. Walking up a short flight of stairs makes me feel like I just ran a mile. I am not overweight and my blood pressure is normal to low.

After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated.
Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. ECG.
2. Endoscopy.
3. 2D Echocardiography.
Antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg will help if your symptoms are due to gastritis.
Further medical management can be planned according to the reports of the investigations.
