Brief Answer:
follow the advises.. maintain a healthy lifestyle..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX welcome back,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

First of all, you should note that after quitting smoking, the body gets through several changes, constipation and inadequate bowel movements are a very common after effects..it takes a few months actually for the body to get rid of the after effects of nicotin (simply because when it's smoked over a long time, it's partially ingested too)..

Follow the advises as well as lifestyle modifications below and let me know how you stay in the due course..

Cap PANTOPRAZOLE/DOMPERIDONE (PAN-D) (40/30) mg Once Daily in empty stomach 15-20 min before breakfast for next 15 days..

Syp LACTULOSE 10 ml Once daily at bedtime(post dinner) for next 7 days then observe without it for another 5-7 days..(you can titrate the dose as per your body's response, eg. if you observe too frequent bowel movements, hold the next day's dose and likewise)..

Eat in small frequent portions, avoid one big meal at a time, instead take 2-3 small but frequent meals with a 2-3 hrs interval..(in together 4-5 small meals in a day is fine)..

Avoid salty/deep-fried/spicy/processed foods..

Reduce high carbohydrate intake, substitute the regular wheat/flour containing products to whole grain products..

Indulge in to healthy snacking eg. dry roasted muesli, oven baked snacks, almonds, ground nuts, whole-some salads etc. instead of pre-processed/junk food products..

Take fresh fruits instead of packaged fruit juices, also include green vegetables in your daily diet..

Alcohol is irritant to the gut, reduce the alcohol intake..drink plenty of water through out the day(~ 2.5-3 ltr per day), stay well hydrated..

Try to fix a daily time for wash-room, it'll be difficult in the beginning but if continued, within a few days only the body'll get accustomed to it..

Avoid too many dairy products, foods which causes belching eg. sprouts, cabbages, cauliflower etc.

Eat with small bites and chew thoroughly, this'll help in reducing aerophagia to minimal..

Try to take your dinner 2-2.5 hr prior to your dinner time..also take a stroll for for about half an hour post-dinner..

Please note, this is a gradual process, don't worry but it'll take a while as there's simply no quick-fix when it comes to our body's well being in long term..

Let me know how you stay later on..

Let me know if there's any further queries, I'll be glad to clarify..

Take Care
Kind Regards
