Suggest Treatment For Heat Sensation In Groin After A Hernia Surgery

default
Posted on Thu, 11 Feb 2016
Question: I had hernia surgery finally last summer.

What started as a heat sensation on the left side of my groin, back in 2009 (all throughout that year, sometimes it would become a dull ache, ruining my nightlife in spite of my getting into club after club for free.

I was checked multiple times for hernia - none. I was given steroids, yada yda.

FINALLY my NEW family doctor checked both sides (in a place NO OTHER doctor HAD) My left side had significant weakness, while my right side would need surgery in 2 years.

I climbed a tree (HERE is the video link). https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxx

Is this uncomfortable pulling on my left side mean the hernia surgery failed, or I am going to have ANOTHER hernia on this same side, albeit in a different spot?

WHY after I climbed this tree, for days afterward, did I feel a painful sensation not where I had my hernia surgery, but in the muscle on the left side level, I think, with my belly button?

CAN I EVER CLIMB TREES AGAIN without fucking something else up, forgive the language, but I am NOT ready to grow old yet?!

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history you have put-in so well.
Noted your history, the past medical history, the medications, seen the great video and understood your concerns.
To answer your queries:
Uncomfortable pulling on the left side means there can be strain on the muscles.
If there is another hernia development on the same or different spot, the pain is typically burning that you can recollect from your past memories.

There is a simple test:
Put the flat of the palm on the affected area in standing and later on lying down position. Do a forceful coughing, if the is a palpable bulge (we call impulse on coughing), there is either a recurrence of hernia or a new hernia, if there is no impulse there is no hernia.

Please see your video again and see the strains you have to put in through while climbing up and down; hence is this is not a daily affair you can have spasms and pains anywhere wherever the muscles either pulled or sprained.

Have a great practice and you can certainly climb any tree in future.
You are not at all old as looked in the video.
Great, carry on.
Please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to ask for or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
