Suggest Treatment For Headache With Neck And Leg Pain
Question: Hey doctor,
I have had neck pains and a headache along with leg pains after going out Thursday night. I had quite a bit of alchool a lot more than I usually do I had around 6-7 glasses/bottles of whiskey mixed with coke and I usually only drink once or twice a month and have maybe 3-4 and I am 19 years old. I also over did my self dancing which is where I think the pains I am having came from. I only had 4 hours sleep that night and kept waking up along with not going to bed until 4am. Today I had around 9 hours but still feel sore. What would be the best way to treat it I already had powerade, water and stuck to healthy food yesterday along with pandol but the pandol didnt really do much is there anything else that would work better?
Kind Regards,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
You can use ibuprofen instead of Panadol.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Pain you describe seems to originate from muscles that may be damaged by alcohol (excessive lactic acid) and dancing.
In such cases, rest, staying good hydrated and painkillers may help in resolving symptoms, but it needs time (few days).
Since Panadol didn't help, you can use Ibuprofen for a couple of days (3x400 mg).
Hope this helps.
Kind regards.
