Brief Answer:
You can take analgesics and watch.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you. I have noted your symptoms and they are suggestive of mild head injury. You can take analgesics such as ibuprofen or diclofenac for relief of pain and watch.

If severe headache persists, or if you develop vomiting, double vision, weakness of arm or leg, or drowsiness, then, you would need to visit ER and get a brain CT scan done.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

I also feel a bit dizzy and or nauseous at times but nothing else. I am still able to function good and have not lost consciousness nor other major symptoms Should i just wait it out and take analgesics then? .

Brief Answer:
You can wait.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back with more information.

If the pain is mild and bearable, you can wait. There is no need to worry about mild dizziness or nausea; would get better with time.

Best wishes,

Nothing specific

Nothing specific to avoid. However, avoid over-exertion, strenuous work outs in gym, etc. Take more rest and have lot of fluids to keep yourself well-hydrated.
