Question: Hi, my daughter, since morning, it started with headache and fever and stumach ache and vomiting

It could be due to a viral infection. Irrespective of treatment, such infections generally take 3-7 days to recover. Give her tylenol. It will help in reducing both the fever and headache. Give ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) and plenty of other fluids. It comes in ready made form or may be prepared by mixing a full XXXXXXX in the designated amount of water. Replenishment of the lost water and salts is essential.

She can't event keep water in her stomach. Even water she threw up. What can I do? She should have something in her stomach for Tylenol right?

Thanks for writing back. Please give her some antiemetic like ondansetron 15-30 mins before each feed. She can be given Ondem MD 4mg half a tablet orally. Since it is a mouth dissolving tablet, no water will be requried while taking it. This will enable her to retain the food or medicines that she takes.
