Question: Hi there
I feel headachey even after taking panadol, slightly nauseous but not like vomiting, I'm really thirsty even though I'm drinking plenty of water, I'm cranky, slightly clumsy, and my urine is quite dark in colour (light brown). I'm also waking at 4am in the morning and struggling to get back to sleep.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Several possibilities

Detailed Answer:
Hello! I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Judging from the info you give about your headache, in the absence of any other nervous system related symptom (like limb weakness or numbness on one side, vision changes, balance and coordination changes, behavior changes, seizures etc), I would say that there is no indication for now to suggest it is a question of a brain lesion origin.

On the other hand headache can be an accompanying symptom of many other conditions in the body (like the clumsiness), crankiness and the rest of the symptoms you describe warrant attention. The fact that you are drinking a lot of water which should make your urine diluted and on the contrary still have dark urine indicates that there is a metabolic issue. Dark urine my be due to presence of blood, bilirubin products, muscle damage products etc, in the setting of conditions like liver or kidney disease, hemolytic anemia, rhabdomyolysis etc.

So the first step to identify any of those causes should be some (fairly routine) blood tests like a complete blood count, liver and kidney function tests, creatine kinase, electrolytes, blood glucose and a urine analysis.
Those tests should give an indication as to the system involved and the need for more specific cause.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
