Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss, Dandruff And Blisters On Scalp

Question: Hi XXXXXXX

2 Months back i posted the below query and used ur medication
Now the blisters or the puss things reduced...there are one or 2 started now again..
But the dandruff is so much still...
From 2 months i am using sebowash and DUCRAY KERTYOL Shampoo alternative days...still i see lots of dandruff also hair fall is also there

I have been observing Blisters or Sore kind of small things all over my head
Some have puss also in them..some or broken and the area is red..maybe bcz of comb they are broken

I do have dandruff too

Please explain what are these and suggest the treatment

YOU TOLD THESE TO USE

ou can get the following brand names:
Fluconazole - Tab. ZOCON 150
Doxycycline - Cap. DOXY-1
Mometasone lotion- MOMATE lotion
Sertaconazole (Will be better than Terbinafine !) - ONABET lotion
Clindamycin lotion - CLINDAC-A solution
Ketoconazole shampoo - KZ lotion ( Shampoo)

Regular use of shampoo twice a week will prevent recurrence upto great extent.

Hello,
Thank you for follow up.
It is good to know that you are improving with the treatment but still there is some pustular lesions and dandruff. Thus I will modify the on-going treatment in following way.

1. Take capsule Itraconazole 100mg (SYNTRAN OR CANDITRAL) twice a day after meals for 15 days.

2. Continue cap Doxycycline 100mg twice a day after meals for 15 days.

3. Apply Clindamycin and sertaconazole lotion twice a day over scalp.

4. Start using a shampoo containing Ketoconazole and salicylic acid thrice a week.(SALISIA-KT SHAMPOO)

5. Avoid use of hair oil and hair gels/sprays

Do let me know if you have any query and follow up after 2 weeks of regular treatment.

these are lotion names or drug names?
should i mix both and apply on scalp?

I already used previous medications for one month..but i don't know why it is still not contained...I am also worried abt the hair loss...

Clindamycin and Sertaconazole should be mixed 1:1 ratio and applied over scalp.
The brand names for both are CLINDAC-A solution and ONABET lotion respectively.

For hair loss, I would suggest you start taking oral biotin supplements like FOLLIHAIR NEW tablet once daily after lunch for minimum 4 months.

Seborrheic dermatitis is tricky to treat but I am sure you will be fine soon.

I just bought the medications..I am thinking of using medication only for dermattis..
Later i will start for hairfall..is it ok?

SYNTRAN OR CANDITRAL these pills seems to be very expensive..each cap is 50 rupess....

Hope my condition will improve

Yes you may start treatment of hairfall later on.
Syntran or Canditral no doubt are expensive but are some of the best brands of itraconazole available in XXXXXXX The local brands of itraconazole though cheaper but have very variable efficacy. Thus I would suggest you to go for good brands for Itraconazole to achieve maximum benefit.

Started medication..one last question though

you said apply mix of 2 lotion twice a day...and also shampoo thrice a week

so what i should do first...do shampoo first in the early morning...apply lotion after few hours or the other way

Wash your scalp in morning and then apply lotion and when you apply lotion at night you can apply directly without washing your scalp.
