Question: What is the treatment for relieving the pain of gout in the big toe?

Indocid or Ibuprofen!

Hi and thanks so much for this query.

MY preferred medications to treat gout pain are:

Ibuprofen: 800mg thrice daily OR
Indomethacin: 50mg thrice daily

Applying ice packs would equally help. Avoid alcohol, red meat and exercise often to loss weight.
