Question: Last year in the month of may, my husband had discovered some pain in the stomach. After proper diagnose, came to know about h.pylori infection. He was adviced for the pylo kit by his doctor and had it for 21 consecutive days which laterly resulted in extreme inflamation. Since then he is just struggling with the medicines and adhering to the pain.
Now, the time has come when he realises pain in his intestinal area, largely towards left which makes him aggetated. Kindly recommend something which affects quick.

Brief Answer:
gastritis related indigestion

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern for your husband's health.
1) The pain which is your husband is experiencing now, might be due to severe gastritis related indigestion in which insufficient amount of stomach acid produce symptoms of indigestion i.e. pain in abdomen (mainly after food intake), burping, abdominal heaviness, occasional nausea.
2) It is important to rule out other causes of indigestion before concluding it due to severe gastritis and for this he might require upper GI endoscopy with biopsy from last part of stomach to confirm presence of H.Pylori infection. If this test will be negative or inconclusive then it is highly recommended to undergo colonoscopy to find other causes of indigestion than gastritis.
3) He can have symptomatic relief in symptoms by taking intestinal digestive enzyme supplements, anti-colic group of medication for pain and acidity medication to relieve symptoms of acidity. But it is very important to reach final diagnosis for providing disease-specific treatment rather than symptomatic-relief treatment.

Hope I answered your query. If you have any further doubts, I would be happy to help you.
Have a good day!
