Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination And Mild Pain In Abdomen

default
Posted on Fri, 12 Feb 2016
Question: Hello. In the last few days I've had an increase in the frequency of urination with occasional mild pain when I urinate. I also have the sensation that I'm urinating even when I'm really not. I don't seem to have any discharge of any kind during these phantom urinations. Any idea of what it could be?

Thank you!

Brief Answer:
UTI, urine routine, drink plenty of water

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query .
Based on the information provided by you it appears like urinary tract infection.

I would have asked for urine routine examination and based on the report I would have decided on the need of antibiotic. I usually in my clinic, treat patients of UTI with Norflox 400 mg twice daily for 3 days.

Presently I would suggest you to drink plenty of water, which will to wash off the microbes from urinary tract and also to drink cranberry juice which is found to be beneficial in UTI.

This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.

I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you.
Take care.
