Question: I was getting in my car and I had sneakers on and the open door of the car swung back slightly and I was getting my foot in the car and the bottom of the door hit the middle of my foot. There is no swelling or discoloration and I can walk on it - it is a little sore - the part of the foot that was hit was right under the tongue of the sneaker. Can you injure your foot if this happens? I assume the sneaker protected the foot. The sneaker tongue was padded well.
