Suggest Treatment For Folliculitis

Question: At first i thought this was an ingrown hair. I popped the pimple and then it became irratated and has now become this. I am now wondering if this is not an ingrown hair. It is in my pubic area about an inch above my penis.

Hi
I saw the pic.
It looks like Folliculitis,i.e,infection and inflammation of hair follicle.It is not ingrowing hair.
I prescribe Antibiotic like Clindamycin capsule along with Anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints.
Hair has to be removed with hair cleaner.Small bandage has to be placed over it.
Please consult your doctor and get appropriate prescription.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.

I believe it has become slightly larger over night. I will be going to my doctor mmonday morning but I want to know if you think i should go anywhere before that( emergancy after hours/er). Picture attached. Thank you
