Brief Answer:
Fybroadenoma is benign....

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

I have gone through the medical history and the reports of your daughter and my answer is as follows.
Fybroadenomas are benign and do not turn into breast cancer. Also this lump does not increase the possibility to have a breast cancer,so we can say that your daughter is safe in this case.
These lump tend to increase during ovulation, because they are hormone sensitive, but that's all. With passing of years,it might get a little bigger, but still there is nothing to be worried.
So yes,an ultrasound each year,is a safe move.

There is another option tho. Today, with a minimal incision, every surgeon might remove this lump (the fibroadenoma) and you and your daughter will have nothing to be worried. The surgery will not affect breastfeeding in the future,or the size of her breast.

In both choices (removing through surgery,or not surgery) are safe options and as I said above, there is nothing to be worried. If i was the caring doctor of your daughter,to be honest, I would perform the surgery. This way no one from you would have anything to be worried, and live a happy life.

Wish good health at your daughter.

Happy to help you

Detailed Answer:
Hi back.

I am happy that I helped you and your daughter.
Fybroadenoma is not cancer and will not change in cancer.

She just need to do her ultrasound each year, just to control the size of the lump. As i mentioned above, either of the choices are safe to take.

If she doesn't want to take the surgery, than It is fine, nothing to be worried and she will live a happy and a long life without any kind of problem from this fybroadenoma. (It will not turn in cancer) If for some reason she has pain,or the lump gets bigger, she can have the surgery again without any kind of problem at any time.

Regards.
