It later subsided on next night i.e Sat night to 99.3 but I felt like vomiting...the fever reduced on sunday and the temp was normal but i still felt like vomiting....what could be the reason for my high lymph, neutrophil snd wbc counts?

Brief Answer:
Blood reports suggestive of high neutrophils indicating bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
The blood tests taken two weeks before and the recent one both show an increase in white blood cells.
The differential count reveals high neutrophils in both reports.
Neutrophils are type of white blood cells which are increased in cases of bacterial infections.
The accompanying fever supports that you are having bacterial infection.
To start with you had a running nose which has probably progressed to bacterial upper respiratory infection.
I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and prescription of an antibiotic.

Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are suggestive of respiratory tract infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
A little yellow and thick sputum is suggestive of respiratory tract infection.
The respiratory infection is the probable cause of fever and vomiting.
Infection has cause high white blood cell count along with high neutrophil count.
I suggest you to consult your physician for treatment of respiratory infection.
In addition, your blood report shows high triglyceride and high LDL levels.
You probably need lipid lowering drugs.
You may consult your physician for same.

Thank you for your reply. I contacted my physician and he prescribed Azithromycin for 5 days-2 tablets on the first day i.e yday and 1 daily for the next 4 days. I forgot to mention that when I blow my nose, sometimes there is little blood coming out of my left nostril.. Why is it? Is it something concerning and I should be afraid of??

Brief Answer:
The bleeding could be due to trauma to delicate nasal mucosa

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The little blood coming out may be due to little trauma to the delicate nasal mucosa.
There is nothing to worry about. It will heal as infection clears.

Thanks and take care
