Suggest Treatment For Fever, Dizziness And Nausea

Question: My fatherwas having fever since last 5days. He used to get dizziness in th morning and fell unconscious for 2 min. We had done all the tests like MP, chickengunia, dengue which were Negative. Dr. Started antibiotics and vitamin supplement since 2 days. He don't have fever now but is very weak. He is having problems in stomach and is having bitter vomit 2 times since tomorrow and today. Please advice. E c g is normal.

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

He seems to be having Post Viral Weakness and acid reflux causing vomiting's.

A lot many times one gets vomiting's as a result of multivitamins.

I would recommend to stop Multivitamins and to re start them after 2-3 days and that too to be taken only with meals.

I would recommend a combination of Pantoprazole and Domeperidone for vomiting's and stomach ache.

Make him drink plenty of water.

Check his blood sugar and in case it is very high and pain abdomen and vomiting persists, he would require evaluation for Diabetic ketoacidosis.
