Suggest Treatment For Fever And Vomiting In A Child

Question: My daughter is now on 3 years old.she is having fever since couple of days back.she has vomiting since one week and itching around urine area.she has no appetite.we are suspecting of worming. Last time also such symptoms happened and doctor suggested for taking Zental suspension of 10ml(5ml in one night and rest 5ml on 10days after).that time she was 2.5years old. Shall i give her same dose? or shall i give her 10ml in single night.

Fever with vomiting and itching in genital area can be due to urinary infection.
Zental is a deforming agent and given for worm infestation. Dose above 2 years is 10ml once at bed time irrespective of age.
Itching is a common symptom of worm infestation and here Zental works well.
But as she is also suffering from fever and vomiting, I would suggest you to get her evaluated by a pediatrician to rule out other problem like urinary infection. If there is urinary infection she may need to be treated with antibiotic also.
