Throat Infection could be caused by virus or bacteria. It is important to differentiate between these two as treatment is different for these two .
I advise you to get Throat swab Culture Sensitivity test done which will be helpful in differentiating between Viral and bacterial infection. Kindly revert back to me with the report.
Till then do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.
