Brief Answer:
Don't give calpol if there is no fever

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern.
One thing I would like to mention that if there is no fever don't give calpol.
The temperature of 34 centigrade may be due to over jealous use of calpol.Dose of calpol is 10-15 mg/kg/dose.Average weight of a 4 year old child is about 15-18 kgs and according to that 10 ml(240 mg) dose is sufficient.
Although temperature below 35 centigrade is abnormal,I won't get overly worried as it does not causes much harm and it comes back to normal without any specific treatment.Temperature below 32 centigrade is considered to be more significant.
So I would suggest you to monitor the temperature of baby and give calpol once temperature is more than 38 centigrade.

I hope this helps.
Wishing for your baby's speedy recovery
Regards
