Question: Feel like running temperature,ache, just feel like crap. couldnt get to see doctor ,went to the care provdider walk-in clinic . they did nose swab,throat swab ,was negative . She,the doctor said ,it is probably a viral infection . gave me predisone ,for 5 days and said if i dont feel better start taking the z-pac .??? Dont understand Viral infection ???

After reading your post,I would suggest that you should take paracetamol 500 mg for symptoms of fever and bodyache. If there is running nose or sneezing, you can add an antihistamine like Levocetrizine 5 mg.
Viral infection usually subsides by 5-7 days.
If the fever persists, then need of an antibiotic can be be considered accordingly.
Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water daily.
