Brief Answer:
its urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
The urine report of your baby is suggestive of Urinary tract infection.
A urine culture report is to be sent and after sending the culture report oral antibiotic like cefixime/amoxycillin is to be started immediately.
Further investigation like Ultrasound abdomen (USG) and micturating cystourethrogram (MCU) will be needed, as it is recommended in all children below 2 years of age with first episode of UTI. USG abdomen helps in diagnosing whether there is lower urinary tract infection or kidney has also involved. Similarly in some children urine returns back from the bladder towards kidney and that causes repeated infection. This can be diagnosed by MCU. In children below 2 years of age antibiotic prophylaxis for 2-6 months is also required.
I would suggest you to keep close observation for child's clinical status like oral acceptance, urinary frequency, lethargy and go for urine culture,USG and MCU. Paracetamol for fever and well hydration by proper intake of fluid is needed.
Consult your pediatrician urgently for proper evaluation and early initiation of treatment.
I hope this answers your query.
If you have any further query I will be glad to answer.

Brief Answer:
Keflor will work.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sorry for delayed reply.

Keflor will also work as both cefixime and keflor are in same group and have a good coverage in UTI.
But a repeat urine test after a week or so and USG abdomen and MCU will be needed. Also low dose antibiotic for 2-6 months as prophylaxis will be required as per guidelines. Give the baby plenty of fluids and maintain proper hygiene.

Wish your baby early recovery.
