Question: How do I know if My husband is abusive?
He has a very short temper and is under alot is stress with his job. He get very angry, very often. He berates me in public. He tells and curses at me in public. Tonight, he told me I was "a dog" in public then proceeded to bust my bedroom door open when I asked him to stay away from me because he scared me. Attached is a picture of the damage to the wall. Is this indicative of potential physical abuse or just a case of a bad mood?

Brief Answer:
Could be due to bad mood

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for asking from HCM

I can understand your concern. Damage to wall or property will not come into physical abuse. This might come under harassment but in my opinion this will not be classified in physical abuse. You have to show proof and proving physical abuse by damage to wall is difficult. This could be due to impulsive action because of bad temper.

Thanks, Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again
