Suggest Treatment For Extreme Fatigue And Headache While On Losartan And Plavix

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Feb 2016
Question: Dec. 8th and 9th I had stents and balloons put in my legs. I have been on Losartan and Plavix since then. I have started to have extreme fatigue. I am very weak to the point of even having trouble opening my eyes. I am an RN. I live alone. I also had a new Star Close system put in during these procedures. I have no signs of active bleeding. The head pressure is very severe. I was checked by a neurologist before procedure. Brain scan done. Was ok. I do not want to go to the ER. Am on Bystolic 5, Norvasc 10 this am. Am on Synthroid and Cytomel. Saw Losartan interacts with it. Any help? Thanks. My md knows.

Hi Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read and reviewed your query facts in context to your current health concerns.
I understood your recent past health issues and treatments you got since Dec,8th / 9th.
Your old and current severe headache is still your continuing health concern.
My Opinion-
Based on the facts submitted by you,In My opinion you should review and reduce on your synthroid and cytomel(Hypothyroid drug related) dosages, with expert control and supervision, after getting your-TSH T3,T4 levels with repeated controls and regulation.
Your severe headache, is mainly related to imbalance and drug interactions(amongst Losartan/Bystolic / Norvasc/Plavix and hypothyroid drugs ) in various drug and their dosages which your are taking.
Your issue is complicated one by your Hypothyroid condition and should not regulate dosages being XXXXXXX RN.So you should review drugs dosages with your Cardiologist and Endocrinologist if need be.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Hope this would help you to come out of this severe headache issue.
